The trek to Doggie School

I am taking Shadow to doggie school once a week. Mostly this is so I can learn what to expect from a dog. The school is a short drive from my apartment. Some times I take the train to the car after work and bring it home so I can load the dog carrier in the car and the dog in the dog carrier. However, this Monday was a holiday for me (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) so I walked the dog and the carrier to the car. This Prius is about a half a mile from my apartment so I rigged straps for the carrier and carried it on my back. I'll get someone to take a real picture but in the mean time here is some fodder for your imagination.

Pretty Tree in the Snow

It snowed last week and Shadow and I came across a beautiful tree in the night.

And I thought you should have a picture of the bat in my friend's bathroom in Center City Philadelphia. The bat was there sometime in November and hung out on the ceiling for a few hours before flying back out the open 9th floor window.
